Natyam AI

Privacy Policy

Natyam AI is built to be simple and safe for young dancers to use — no accounts, no cloud storage, and as little data collection as possible.

Last updated: 25 August 2026

The Short Version

Natyam AI does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and does not store your videos or analysis results anywhere except on your own device. The only data that leaves your phone is a handful of still frames from a video you choose to analyse, sent securely to Anthropic's Claude AI for that single analysis, and not stored by us afterward.

What the App Does With Your Video

When you select a video from your device's library to analyse:

What We Collect

Natyam AI does not have user accounts, login, or sign-up of any kind, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or other personal information through the app. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Permissions the App Requests

Natyam AI asks for access to your device's photo/video library, solely so you can pick a video to analyse. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other permission.

Children's Privacy

Natyam AI was built with young Bharatanatyam students in mind, and is designed to be usable without ever collecting personal information from anyone, including children. Since there is no account creation or data submission beyond the video-analysis flow described above, no personal information is knowingly collected from children under 13 or any other age.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your analysis history lives only in local storage on your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in your device settings, permanently deletes it. We have no server-side copy to delete, because we never receive one.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
